Hi All ~ Ever since we returned from Disney, I've been in a funk. It's only been a couple of weeks and so far I've been physically ill ~ enough to schedule a CAT scan and heart tests. I've been p*ssed off a lot, but directed at nothing in particular. I've been depressed and exhausted.

I've asked a few people if they feel the same and they have.

What's up? How have you been? Blessings, Sandra

Crummy. Winter just won't end and I came down with pneumonia the minute I stepped off the plane Feb 15 from Orlando and am still on the tail end of it. It was the worst Easter break ever with the kids. It literally was a blizzard and snowed non stop it was as cold as the middle of December....and yes even my dog was sick...I feel your pain Sandra :flower3:

Every time we go, I'm the same. Usually, before we go I'm in a funk because it can't come fast enough, while we're away I'm awesome, and as soon as we get back I can't be lived with! We went in February, and now aren't going back until Dec., and I was such a bear to live with last month, my hubby told be to go somewhere and find a happy place. I would have loved to go back to WDW, but the budget wouldn't allow, so me and my daughter drove down to Charlotte NC (halfway to WDW) and enjoyed some nice 85 degree days. The four days away did my heart good, especially time with my daughter. But since we're not rich people, I can't always go away when I'm in a rut. I've found that keeping busy and looking forward to my next trip really helps my mood. I'm sure when the weather is warmer here it will help everyone a great deal - nothing's more depressing than looking outside at snow while you turn up your heat while knowing somewhere someone is laying by a pool under a palm tree five minutes from my castle!!!
Chin up - we have to remember that not everyone is fortunate enough to say they have been to WDW, much less able to go back more than once.
Here's a hug  and some pixie dust pixiedust: - hope your health improves!

Know what you mean Sandra. We too were at WDW for March break and miss it terribly! I even went to the Disney Store recently to have my Disney fix. It is this horrible weather we are having - just when it starts to feel like Spring is in full swing - we get snow and rain or cold temps.
Do what we did. We are planning a trip to Disneyland and planning another trip always gets one excited again. Hope your help improves and sendign some Pixie Dust to a fellow Mississauga resident!

OOOOH summer in Disneyland how fun! We are going back in November. I love doing the coast down to San Diego to do Sea World etc! The only thing we have not done is Legoland. Next time we are going to take the train instead of drive from DL to san Diego...have a great time!

I have been very blue for the past month ~ starting planning for my Eastern Cruise in February and my mood brightened immediately! I find that getting a pedicure/massage or even a quick manicure helps me feel better. I took the kids to see Meet the Robinson's and there is a short film with Mickey & Goofy in it. It was enough to bring a big smile to my face! I am going thru some medical stuff and sometimes it feels like the weight of the world is on my shoulders. But I rent a good movie, read a great book and take an afternoon nap (on the weekends) and it seems to help. Good Luck and PM if you ever need to talk (type)

My 8 year old has been sick since we returned from the 7 day Western. She ended up with an infection and now that is gone but her stomach has been bothering her.

I think we wore her out and pooped out her immune system to tell the truth.

The it is summer one day and freezing cold two days later. I had the windows open and now have heat back on. It just causes the virusus to go nuts when it is like this.

Take vitamins, get lots of rest (as I type this a midnight) and try to eat right. Spring has to come some time or another.

I was sick in November just after we returned from our Oct trip - then had it again in Dec - am ok not BUT wishing Winter would end.

Getting more and more depressed talking myself into and out of a quick May long weekend trip to the world. Keep talking myself into it and convincing myslef that I will find a good flight price then I remember we are in a brand new house and have to put in Central Air this summer and a driveway and landscape and we have a bit of debt left from finishing the basement. Ahhhhhhhhh I wanna go but I know we 'shouldn't' but it's only money and my kids aren't going to want to travel with me forever...... sigh. But on the bright side we go away in 4 months on a cruise and to WL!!

Off to start my work day now and look at flights and dream!! Perhaps I will get a nice surprise on the weekend when we do our taxes!!

I feel the same way :sad2:

I haven't been to WDW this year (was hoping to get there in May, but a diagnosis of gallstones and now gallbladder surgery needed, has put an end to that)

Keeping fingers crossed for a trip as soon as possible after the surgery :)
