It used to be a family tradition to go annually, but we got away from that for some reason. Next week we're planning to go! Unfortunately we're too late to buy the cheaper advanced tickets. Any other coupons available? I'd love to hear of any tips or must-see attractions anyone may have. Thanks so much!

My kids and I went on Saturday and had a blast. There is still lots to see and do for younger kids. My son is 9 and my twin girls are 6, so we spent most of the day in the kids area (and the food court).

If you do have small children, they get in cheaper on Mondays. I don't know of any other coupons or deals.

went on monday, had a great time. we have ontario place seasons passes so it's free to get in to the cne for us so we'll probably go back 2 or 3 times more before the end. the only promotion i can think of is they have $5 admission after 5pm during the week. the buildings are open tll ten and midway till midnight so you'd still have lots of time after 5pm. mondays it's $2 all day to get in for kids.

Plan to go after work tomorrow for the $5 after 5 deal

Not a fan of teh CNE at all. I would not take my DD there. This year there has been a few kids hurt on rides and one right caught fire (electrical problem), just not safe in my eyes!

We haven't missed a year in the past 6 of the CNE.
We went Opening Day, it was $1.75 admission.

They do have an email newsletter you can sign up for but not sure if they'll have any other discounts besides the $5 one, that might be your best bet. It's really pretty at night w/ all the lights!

I went for the first time last Friday. I don't really know much about it, but if the figure skating show is still running you should definitely see it. It made the crazy crowd worth it. It was great!

Headed there on Monday - Kids are only $2 and ride ticekts are cheaper on Mondays too - but I agree with post that rides are not safe so mine will only be allowed on fun house and things that cannot break. Shows look entertaining.

My kids have never even heard of the CNE or The Ex.......wierd....and we are just 45 minutes north of the city. Should be fun.

Rides aren't cheaper on Mondays.

We were there last Monday. Rides are cheaper on Mondays if you buy tickets instead of the all day pass. We got 30 coupons for $20, instead of the usual 22 coupons for $20. The all day pass was regular price. I believe that will be true this coming Monday as well.
