Just curious if anyone as gone and has some experiences to share?

A.

We're hopefully going on Monday, so I will let you know how it was when we get back. A co-worker has been, and she said it gets really busy in the afternoon, so get there early.

We went on the 25 of July. Get there early. You can enter the park before the slides and wave pool open. Scope out where you want to leave your stuff. I would recommend riding as many rides as possible as quickly as possible the line-up get huge by noon. There is always lots of room in the wave pool and on the lazy river

Be warned the water is salt water. This seems to contribute to burning sooner than expected.

You can take in a cooler full of food so that you don't have to use the on-site restaurants.

We had a great time! Hope you enjoy your visit.

we were there last weekend. the park gets busy by noon so it is better to do the rides right away.

if you have small kids, get the life jacket right away to avoid line ups. Most of the rides, small kids can ride with an adult but they have to wear a life jacket. My 6 year old rode almost all the rides except the fast tracker/vertigo as they have height restriction.

the water is also heated so even if the weather if gloomy, u can warm up in the jungle river or wave pool

I grilled a friend who took his family their recently. He wasn't impressed.
* water heating insufficient, even in the kiddie pool
* body slides hurt his back (on a brand new slide??)
* tube slides were slow loading, causing slow lines

They had a better time at World Waterpark in Edmonton earlier in the summer. Surprisingly, the two parks have a similar number of slides.

Take your cooler and park it near a picnic table. Set up your towels and stuff etc and no one should bother it.

You can leave it in your car if you prefer but you may find it difficult to get a table when you want one. (kind of like reserving chairs with your beach towel at Disney)

We just got back, we loved it! They open the park at 9:00 and the slides at 10:00am. We were there shortly after 9:00 and stayed till 6:30. We lucked out, we waited no longer than 10 - 15 min in any line up, they moved pretty good. We enjoyed the slides and the wave pool. It was no "Typhoon Lagoon" wave pool, but it was nice. There were plenty of chairs all day, but, again, I think we lucked out. It looked like rain the first couple hours we were there then it got sunny for the rest of the day. They had a TON of picnic tables, for some reason I expected there to be a couple dozen, so it was great to just take your cooler in and plunk it down and go. My DD thinks it would be cool tp live there!;)
