I am looking for a simple web design software package.

I've built one website for my business a year ago with Go Daddy's Web Site Tonight program, but that program has changed somewhat since I used it and seems to be allot harder to use now. I've also tried Net Objects Fusion, but the startup manual for that - just the startup !! - is 200+ pages long.

I bought a program called Perfect Publisher Suite by Cosmi at Walmart for 20 bucks, but I've not opened it yet, as the reviews I've seen on other Cosmi software are just plain terrible.

I, of course, would like professional looking results and the ability to change aspects of the sight by myself.

Does anyone have any experience with web design software ? Like what's good and useful and what to stay away from ?

Thanks in advance fellow Budget Boarders !!

If you are looking for something similar to GoDaddy, you might consider
Moonfruit. I've been with them for about four years, and have been happy with their product.

My teenage son has a free lance web design business. You might want to look into your local high school and see if there is anyone doing what my son is. He doesn't host all of them, some he just designs and hands over.

I can't help with software but when he gets home from school I can ask him.

I just started a website on onewebhosting.com. They have a ton of templates and the phone support has been outstanding, but you can't customize the templates. You may find one that will meet your needs, but it may not be flexible enough for you. The costs were reasonable.

All this current information is great - but this zombie thread (and four others like it on other boards) were bumped up early this morning, by either a spammer or a bot.
