What time do they turn on the Osbourne Lights at DHS? Trying to coordinate ADR time.

We're excited.. this is our first time. We definately wanted to get them in now, because rumor has it that this is the last year for them...

They begin at dusk each evening, so it will depend. Last November when we were there I believe they started around 6:00 pm. We went a couple of times and I enjoyed it more later in the evening when it was totally dark out compared to when the last hints of daylight were still in the sky.

Be there by 5:45PM and you'll be able to see them come on.
(6PM is the most common start-time.)

i have also heard it is questionable if the osborne family lights will continue (when my ta told me about them, i thought it was something to do with ozzy osbourne and HIS family, i was like Wth???). we went after fantasmic so had no idea what time it had started.

The O-Lights have been rumored to "end after this year" for many years, now.
However, so far, they have come back every year.

If the rumored removal of the "Streets of America" (the O-Lights location) takes place, Disney will likely find a new home for the Lights.
The "Streets of America" are actually the second home of the O-Lights in DHS.
The original spot was in the (now long gone) "suburban neighborhood" section of the Back Lot Tour (also now gone.)

6 PM - if you want to see them turned on you can be there around 5:45 like PP state. We did that once and it was pretty cool - but much more crowded. If you do go for the lights being turned on - make sure to take the time and stroll around to see all the various detail once the crowds spread out.

Depending on construction timelines, we might get to keep the light for another year as stuff the other side of the park has closed first. If LMA shuts, then we can worry!

The lights are on till park close, but the movement to music is roughly every 15 mins, for the length of that song.

Personally I love The Nightmare Before Christmas songs!

The first "turning-on" takes about 3 minutes.

Then, as mentioned above, the lights will be on, and offer some "dancing" features for the rest of the DHS evening, often until an hour or more past the DHS "closing time."

You will be late for your ADR.
But, "everybody is late" at WDW.

I'd just arrive at H&V by 5:50 and skip the O-Lights until after dinner.

It's a spectacular show and for us, we usually spend 45 to 60 minutes viewing. i remember that they would give out 3d glasses. So each light would have angel wings or appear as snowflakes. So really special effect glasses rather than 3d.

OSBOURNE LIGHTS and Candlelight Processional were the BEST part of our Dec '14 trip! Started at 6pmwhen we were there! You will be AMAZED!!!Enjoy!

They will be on during PM EMH and stay lit until the end of PM EMH.
