Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights TV Christmas Special Idea

To avoid confusion, this is only an idea of mine that Disney would use if the company accepted ideas from Disney fans. The Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights is one of my favorite things to see at WDW during the holidays. An idea of mine is to have a TV Christmas special based on the light display. There would be segments that include dancers performing choreographed dances while the lights flicker in sync to the music at the same time. Other parts of the holiday special would have famous celebrities and singers singing Christmas songs, sometimes with acts. For example, a celebrity or singer performs “Is that you Santa Claus?” as Goofy dressed up as Santa sneaks around behind light displays, over rooftops, behind windows, ect. This idea for a holiday special would give WDW’s Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights more popularity and have more people want to come to see it.

I think a speacial or made for TV movie about the story... going back to how it started with Jennings Osbourne decorating the house for his daughter. I think it could make for a neat Xmas special... of course ending with what it has become now.
It actually would work like an infomercial for DHS. BTW... I'm Operations Director of a News/Talk/Sports AM/FM combo... so I tend to think this way!

heck, it doesn't even have to be a full show...they could add it as a clip to the Disney Christmas Parade...have a celebrity sing a song to the lights...like you suggested.

That's a good point! The Osbourne Lights is one thing Disney has a leg up on Universal... they could never duplicate or even come close. The whole story about how Little Rock put the lights out on the Osbournes & Disney brought them to Florida is such a neat thing.
