Osborne Lights - Closed for Special Parties?

We generally go to WDW either the 1st or 2nd week in December every year. Every year that we have gone, there is one night where DHS shuts down early for a party and the Osborne Lights aren't open for the general public.

Are there any nights where we won't be able to see the lights?
