Osborne before fantasmic?

I have a mama melrose fantasmic dinner package scheduled for Wed, Dec. 13th. I also want to see the osborne lights that starts at 6pm. Dinner is early (at 3:30). Is it possible to see the Osborne lights before heading over to fantasmic. I just don't know if I'll have enough time to get to fantasmic. What do you guys think? I love christmas and I MUST see the lights and I've never seen fantasmic either. Help!

Do you know that you can see the lights AFTER Fantasmic? Even though it seems (looking at the schedule) the park is closed, you have plenty of time to see the lights!

the park may be closed, but it is always wise to stick around for a little while, if Fantasmic does not let out into the parking lot. If they do, you may have to go another night.

Last year DH & I were disappointed that we could not see the Osbourne lights after Fantasmic. CM's were stationed to herd the crowds out of the park after the show and no one was allowed back to see the lights. The year before, however, we did get to see the lights after Fantasmic.

WOW - I didn't know the lights weren't always available after Fantasmic! We've seen the lights afterward during our 3 previous holiday season trips, including last year. I'll be sure this time to leave a second evening open for the lights in case we get shoved out of the park vs. out through the lights.

I haven't checked the schedule for the night you are going, but we are going on the 18th and there are two fantasmics (7 and 8:30pm) we are going to do the Spectacle of Lights during the first fantasmic and then go to the 8:30pm fantasmic show. Maybe this is also an option for you? I got this idea from TGM....
