Orlando Weddings/Non-Disney companies?? HELP!!

Are there any brides here who are planning through Orlando Weddings?? If you are, you know that there are major going out of business/legal issues. What are your plans??


For those that have used other non-Disney companies---who have you used?? Who would you recommend?? I have only 6 months til my wedding...and I'm so scared that I've lost everything--site, vendors, EVERYTHING--not to mention my money!!


Any suggestions??

i hope we can get this sorted!!.....i need my monies back as im going to book through another company .

i dont think we will get what we asked for anywhere else with the price orlando weddings quoted us...

have you emailed any of your vendors to see if they have been booked ....i emailed REV Tim and he hasnt been booked or paid but my wedding isnt until sept 09
yours is before mine so orlando weddings might have booked yours already try emailing the vendors to ask then you will know for definate .

Rachel, I'm so sorry you are having to deal with all this. How unlucky but with the way the economy is, I have a feeling a lot of small businesses are going out of business.

You may have to file something with the secretary of state. If nothing is booked and there is no refund of money you may want to call the attorney general or secretary of state to see what you can do. Did you pay via cash or credit card. If you paid via credit card you can dispute the charges.

Thanks for all the info...I believe it is working out. The person I got passed off to figured out what happened to my deposit...so that is safe now.

I also confirmed that my site was booked, so I think this person will actually get everything done.

Such a relief.
