Orlando Sentinel article on SWA and RAC. Looks like almost all resorts will have it.

Disney began expanding the service to Southwest passengers staying at its other hotels earlier this month, adding as many as three resorts a week. The rollout will conclude next week.

At that point, only two hotels will not be included: the 761-room Disney’s Old Key West Resort and the 2,112-room Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Disney says it is in the midst of expanding the luggage drop-off facilities at Old Key West and that it is considering similar changes at Caribbean Beach.

Anyone heard anything on CBR? We will be there at the end of Sept. thru the 8th of Oct. and were hoping they would have the luggage center upgraded for the SWA --RAC . If anyone knows anything fill me in.

Despite everything reported here about the luggage room needing to be expanded, I have it on good authority that nothing has been happening there at all. Either they aren't expanding it or they just haven't started to yet, which is puzzling given that all the other resorts have it now. (OKW's luggage room expansion was just about done about 2 weeks ago, so if they haven't already added SWA, they will soon.)

When I asked about SWA and RAC at CBR on 6/28, I got a whole lot of blank stares and "I don't know."

We are staying at OKW next month and flying SW. On our departure date, we have an early AM breakfast at Boma. If OKW does not have RAC, is it possible to use it at AKL as we will be there about 7 am?

No, you can only use RAC at your own resort. This came up during the pilot program at POP.

Thanks. No big deal I suppose. It would have been nice to check the luggage but we will manage I think.
