Orlando Sanford International airport to Disney

My sister and family are meeting us at disney, but flying into Orlando Sanford airport. Any suggestions or personal experiences getting to Wilderness lodge from airport???

What do you mean, public transportation? It's a very easy drivee, will they have a car?

There is no Magic Express available from Sanford Airport, but they could rent a car or take a taxi. We always rent a car anyways and the drive from Sanford is only about 20 more minutes from WDW than MCO.

No, it's twice as far. MCO to Disney is about 24 miles, Sanford is about 48 miles. According to mapquest, Sanford is about an hour to WDW.

Their best bet is to rent a car, that way you will have it available while you are at WDW. You may want to run out for groceries or go to the outlets. It's also good to have a car for resort to resort transportation. I fly into MCO and still rent a car, I love my freedom!

I just booked a limo for our transportation from Sanford. The place came with excellent references. You don't need to book the limo- that is a surprise for the kids - you could get a towncar. then I dont have to worry about parking fees or the stress of driving. I even get a 1/2 grocery stop on the way to pick up things. We will sooo take advantage of this.

The company is: A1A Ocean Drive....

Do not use either of the car services with names like "Sanford Transportation".

Many dissatisfied customers, complaints and bad reviews.
