Hello all,
I am flying into Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) and I am gonig to be staying on WDW grounds. What is the best service to get to there and back. Thanks for your time.

I was considering a flight into Sanford and did a bit of research. Car service is more expensive since Sanford is further from WDW than the main airport. For us, there wasn't much difference between renting a car for a week and hiring a car service. Of course rental costs varies depending on how long you are staying and what size vehicle you need, I was looking at a fullsize for 7 nights.

It also depends on your vacation style, I would have made a grocery stop and we would probably have used the car a few times even though staying on property. If you want the "I'm on vacation and I'm not driving in a strange city" relaxation then get a limo.

Thanks for your reply. We did not want to rent a car because we are staying on WDW property. We flew into Sanford because that is where our local airport flys into. I didn't know that the Orlando Airport was different until reading here on this site, DOH! We are just looking for the best means of transportation between the 2. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks again.

A town car service from Sanford will cost aprox $160.00 to $210.00 depending on what company you use.
Happy Limo was $160.00 to 170.00
Tiffany town car was 180.00
Fl Tours $210.00
This is double what the cost would be from Orlando to Disney.
I do not know of any shuttle that runs from Sanford to WDW and I would expect that a taxi would be quite expensive as a taxi to WDW runs about $50.00 one way not including tip so I would say the cost would be doubled from Sanford.

We're flying into Sanford in December. I am renting a car from Alamo/National for about $53 for one day. We'll return it to the National rental agency at the Dolphin hotel the next day. To get back to the airport, we'll do the same thing in reverse: rent a car from the Dolphin and drop it off at Sanford. I found a special of about $45 for the return trip. I didn't want the car for the whole week and it was a lot cheaper for just the two days. Hope this helps.

Is the special still on? Also is it Alamo at the airport? I know that they charge airport taxes which is usually like 17% on top of everything. Still, it seems like a cheaper alternative to a LIMO... hehe. My wife will be shocked.
