Orlando Outlet Stores

My kids like the Converse one because it has such a great selection!

I think the best selection of outlet shops is the Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlets. It has a great selection of affordable shops.
There are several others but we like this one because of the location and affordability.

I would second this. We have been to all the various 'outlets' many times over our lat 3 or 4 visits and LBV is consistently the best for choice and price. Which individual store is best depends on what you are looking to buy but we have never failed to find a bargain or 6 here. Just a word of warning though, it is very popular so you may well have to queue to park!!

what do you mean queue to park? Do you know if there are any shuttles that go here? also how close is it to WDW?

My favourite store is Nautica, of course. But I just got 3 pairs of shoes for the price of 1 on Sunday at Bass. The I-Trolley goes there (well, both Premium and Prime outlets actually, 1 at each end of I-drive). It's not far from Disney, but I don't think there's any shuttle or public transit between anything Disney and I-drive, you'd have to take a taxi (Downtown Disney would be the closest approach).

Queue is the Britsh word for line up. You get in the queue to pay for your groceries.

Getting to the outlets without a car is a challange as well as expensive and time consuming. We traveled from Premium to Prime and it took us well over an hour. We took the I-Trolley. On the way back to Premium it took us almost 2 as it was rush hour and it stopped at every stop. Then a taxi $20 plus back to resort on site. If we had a car it would have been much faster. If you plan to use public transportation make sure you don't have a reservation for something that you have to get to. Give yourself the whole day.

I saw on expedia they had some tours there, will provide transportation there and back. I may look into that.

We've only been to LBVFS - and once I found out that Vanity Fair carried so much more than I expected, that is my go-to store. Found 3 pairs of Reefs (super comfy flip flops) for the price that I paid for one pair in the MK. Lots of cute tops & even tons of jerseys/hoodies in the far back - it's almost like a Winners or a TJMaxx. We also get Aeropostale g/c's for the nieces & DH has found good deals at Eddie Bauer.

Would love to hear some opinions of Premiere, too. Thanks OP for the thread.

I am planning on going to the lbv outlets on our upcoming trip and I was wondering if anyone knows how much it is to go from POFQ to the Lake Buena Vista outlets via taxi.

LOVE the LBVFO too, our favorite. We've always had a car in previous trips, so we just drove there, going to look into that shuttle thing for this trip. Some of our favorites are the converse store, Tommy, Aeropostale, Eddie Bauer and the SHOE stores oh gosh, I love the shoes!!:cheer2: We always find awesome deals there, and have DD15, who loves to shop, she can't wait to go there!!

I usually go to Premium Outlets and my favourite stores there are Coach, Banana Republic, Cosmetics Company Outlet and Nike but it looks like it's around the corner from LBVFO so if we rent a car we may check it out as well.

It's been a couple years since my DH let me shop off-site ;) ...

But from my fuzzy recollections, I believe the Premium outlet was the closest, followed by LBVFS, then Prime.

Many years ago (circa 1998), Prime was the place to go but I found it since went downhill and there were a lot of empty storefronts. I think it's too far off the beaten bath from Disney as well - especially with newer, closer outlets. That was 5 years ago. They may have gone through a reno since then, but I won't go back. :confused3

I usually go for the Disney outlets. The last time I went to LBVFS (2005), I found the selections at the Disney outlet to be very poor and dingy. I can't honestly remember the other stores. But, I do know I didn't purchase anything there. The good thing is it's not too far from the Wal-mart super-centre where there was a lot more bargains.

The last outlet we went was the Premium. It's a very nice place - more upscale stores, and clean. The Disney store is small but has current discounted offerings. Lots of name sports & clothing stores. More like an upscale Niagara outlet or Vaughan Mills. There's a big grocery store nearby too if you want to kill 2 birds with one stone.

I'm not a huge bargain-hunter on holiday (girls trip maybe but not with the kids), but if you had teens or are into labels, I would recommend the Premium outlet over the other 2. :)

My family and I always go to the Premium Outlets and Prime Outlets and we like going to their Disney's Character Premiere and Disney's Character Premiere stores, because of the amazing sales they have on WDW merchandise no longer being sold onsite. Besides that we also like shopping at their Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store and the Nike Factory Store.

I've only been to prime outlets. We enjoyed it... But my favorite there was Disney's Character Wharehouse. Got some incredible deals there!
