Two part question.
1. Where do you find the Disney Magical Express upon arrival?
2. If I'm arriving at 9:45 am , what time can I realistically expect to enter the Hollywood Studios that day? Given bus transportation, hotel check in, Disney bus pick up? We have 2:00 pm fast passes for RRC!

1. Disney will send you a brouchure with map as the trip gets closer. Here is a copy:

2. It usually takes from an hour to 90 minutes to get from exiting our plane to entering our resort room. Barring a catastrophe shutting down the highway, with your flight arriving at 9:45am, 2pm FastPasses should be no problem.

Just a FYI, you may not be able to check into your resort that early. If your room is not ready, you can have them store anything you need them to while you go to HS. Just make sure you have your park bag(s) with anything you will need for the day in your carry ons.

Magical Express is located on Level 1, B Side. You can check the Airport website to determine the location of your airline. Level 1 is ground transportation, Level 2 is baggage claim and Level 3 has the security checkpoints, ticketing/check-in and gates; the main terminal and airside terminal are separate; you'll take a shuttle to get to one side or the other. Southwest and Jet Blue (and many others) are on the A side. American, Delta, Spirit and United (and several others) are on the B Side. It sounds overwhelming, but there are plenty of signs. You should be fine for your fast pass assuming your flight is on time and there are no traffic snafus.

You can always check into your resort early the day of your reservation. It's just the physically getting into the room that might have to wait, but the front desk will check you in, activite your magic bands & give you your room assignment.

When checking in early, always check the map of what room they've placed you in. If you don't like it, ask if anything more to your liking is available. Availability is highest in the morning of check-in- that's one advantage of being there to check in early.
