Orlando Airport to Bonnet Creek transport

What is best/cheapest/quickest way to get from Airport to Bonnet Creek (or any offsite)?
Two adults flying down on May 17, 2016 to pick up son in DCP. He has a car, but works during the time we arrive, so can't pick us up at airport.
How should we get from Airport to BC? And what's the cost?
Taxi?
Uber?
Shuttle?
One way rental?

We will drive home with him, so only need transport 1-way, 1 time.

Best way: Mears' shuttle (Most major hotels).
Quickest way: Taxi (Any offsite)
Cheapest way: One way rental (If you can find a good deal including low or no oe way drop charge; go to any offsite resort)

Last I heard, Mears costs about $20. per person one way. Taxis cost around $60. plus tip depending in distance. Uber's "regular" service does not cover airport pickups; their "black" (read: deluxe) service, costing roughly the same as most taxis, does.

Always reserve rental cars in advance. If you walk up to a rental counter you will only find expensive cars.

I would keep really close watch on the rental cars. You could pay far less than the cost of a taxi. Failing that, I would just take a taxi for the ease/convenient factor.

I hate the Mears shuttle personally. You have to wait for other passengers to arrive and then stop at their hotels as well. It takes forever.

We've used Happy Limo (town car) for the same price as a taxi. Great service.
