Has anyone stayed here prior to their Disney Cruise?

Anyone also taken the Disney buses to port after spending the night at the Airport Marriott?

I've heard that you can request the hotel shuttle bring you to the Disney bus area in the morning???

I'd love to hear from anyone who has stayed here and their experiences with the hotel.

Is getting a hotel shuttle from the baggage claim easy to do?

Can't speak to the Marriot, we stayed next door at the Sheraton. There are 6 or 8 hotels off the airport property built around a little lake. I think they all offer free shuttles, and at least the Sheraton dropped you right off at the Disney busses.

And what do you tip the free shuttle driver??? It'll just be my son & I, and I'm not certain if a couple bucks is enough? Maybe $5???

My DD & I stayed at the airport Marroitt. Loved it. It is only 4 mintues from the airport. Last year when we stayed they gave us Bath & Body works in our room

DD loved the pool, I loved the service. The bus ride was awsome. I tipped the guy $2.00 for each one of us. Total of $4.00 each way.

They will bring you to the DIsneyu bus, I think if you call Disney (I remember someone saying that the bus came to the Marriott to do a pick up) & call the Marriott & see if they will pick you up at the Hotel. If not it is only 4 minutes back to the airport. The bus brings you. DD & I loved all of the resturants choices at in the area.

I stayed at the Marriott back in 2005 but not for a pre-cruise stay. It was a decent room and the staff checking us in couldn't have been friendlier (it was midnight and they were still smiling and cheerful!). I have no complaints what-so-ever. The shuttle bus was already at the airport so we didn't even have to wait for it. From the reviews I read their shuttle is very prompt and gets a thumbs up all around.
