Hey everyone!

My friends and family have finally received their save-the-dates (yay), but I'm a little puzzled. We decided to go with the old ones and I had told our coordinator the reason is because some of our family members aren't computer savvy and this way they'd have most of the information right in front of them. She said it wasn't a problem and they'd go out right away.

During our site visit in June, the "old ones" had a really nice pamphlet with our printed personal info and forms tucked into the back pocket. We thought these were very professional looking and more than anything we could do on our own.

I received the extras in the mail the other day, but they were only the envelopes and our printed info (announcing us and the reservation forms). I figured that the guests only receive the "fancy" pamphlets if they are a part of the original mailing by Disney. I shrugged it off. My Mom just called me to say they got the save-the-date too, but theirs didn't have the pamphlet either. :confused3

Is this normal or did something not get mailed that was supposed to? I just emailed my coordinator asking her the same thing so I guess we'll see what she says. Just wondering if any of you ladies have had similar experiences.

Thanks!! :)

They can't use the pamphlet anymore because it has the info about Pleasure Island

Basically they can't advertise/market something that is already closed

This is the reason I heard they were changing the save the dates anyway

Really? I knew it was closing but she didn't even hint at that they'd go out without the pamphlet. I wish she would have said something... :sad2:

Thanks for the info!

Has anyone else had the save-the-dates go out recently but still chose the old ones?

I was going to go with the old ones but when I received my mock-up it didn't have the pamphlet, so I decided to just wait for the new ones. I was told the new ones would be ready beginning of October and now it's the end.... they need to hurry up! I was told they weren't doing the pamphlets anymore and I thought it was just blah without it.
