Ordering White Chocolate Mickey???

I thought I had read that you can order a white chocolate Mickey statue and chocolate covered strawberries to be delivered to your hotel room.

I just called the Polynesian (where we're staying) and was told I had to go through WDW Florist - but they only do gift baskets, flowers and balloons. So, who do I call about this? Is there a department to ask for when calling the Polynesian? I'd like to set this up for DH and myself...we're celebrating our 5 year anniversary!

Also, if anyone has a picture of these chocolate Mickey's, could you post a link? I know it was posted on my other thread about the white chocolate Cinderella slipper dessert. (I'm just crazy for anything Disney in white chocolate!)

We were able to do it through GF bakery. I don't know who to call about having it delivered at the Poly - but it definitely wasn't WDW florist.

I ordered one for our trip in sept last year. We stayed at the WL . All I did was call room service ahead of time. They werent sure exactly what I was talking about but they said they would order it from the GF and have it in my room. Word of caution it was only supposed to be $50 but guess how much I got charged........... $300.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They sent it up with like 2 dozen tuxedo strawberries as opposed to the six that it comes with.. I am still disputing this charge. Whatever you do if the Poly says they can get it for you write down who you spoke with, the date, and the price you were quoted. And make sure to clarify over and over again. I dont know if anyone else has had this problem but it is just a warning that some cm's are not as knowledgeable as some others. You can also have it for dessert at any of the GF's restaurants and I believe it is on the room service ammenities at the Yacht club so you probbaly can have it at one of those restaurants.

$300.00!!!! Holy shnikes! Yeah...I won't be paying that. I'll follow your advice to the letter if I do it. It is good to know it CAN be done at WL, though.

I was staying at the Beach Club last week and ordered this as a surprise. It was called the "Main Mouse" (as listed on the room service info). The white chocolate Mickey was about 6" tall, and it came with 4 strawberries. They were delicious!!!!!!!!!! Maybe you could order and pick one up or arrange through your resort. Good luck!

It is absoultly adorable and it was very good..... it is definatly worth $50 and I would order it again. I just wanted people to be informed that this can happen when a cm is not in the know.

Just call the main WL number and ask for room service. They will take you credit card number just in case you cancel.You can also have it waiting in the room on a certain night when you can come back and find it as a surprise but if you order and wine or anything like that with it they can not just leave it they have to check id.Hope I helped
