Ordering Magic bands help

So do I have to pay for all the bands at 1 time or can I do it 1 at a time. 1 of my DD's found the Stitch one she wanted and added it but it doesn't show how to pay for it. Will it still be there once the rest of us find ones we want? How do I lock hers in?

You have to buy all of the ones for your party at once. It won’t let you check out without choosing one for everyone. I found that out the hard way. You basically just have to keep checking back and make sure everyone has 2 or 3 that they are ok with. I was lucky that there were only 3 of us, so only one got a second choice, but he was the least concerned with getting a particular band.

Unfortunately you have to make the orders all at once. A magic band may or may not still available by the time you get everyone else's magic band in order. In fact, if you try to order one of the upgraded ones it's still no guarantee you'll get it even if you make it to the payment screen. It's one of the many things that's frustrated a lot of people about this new magic band upgrade.

tinkerbelletreasure & Unvoiced Apollo, thanks for the info. Not what I wanted to hear but was hoping. I saw the thread about the frustrations people are having with it. May just go the plain color route and save it for beer on my Beers Around the World Tour! 1 for each country !

I'd set your expectations exceptionally low for actually finding bands you want. As others have noted, it's all at once. You'll also find that despite them only offering a small number of designs each hour on a rotating basis, usually at least several of the few that are posted are not actually available. When you try to add to you cart or check out, you'll get the message that it's no longer in stock. Really really poor implementation of this unfortunately for something that you would have thought should have been easy - the whole idea of rotating and offering only 5-6 custom designs per hour rather than just putting them all up makes it nearly impossible for everyone in a party to get their preferred design.

I chose ours the day the feature premiered, and as stated above I had to order both mine and DH's at once. I got Haunted Mansion and he got plain red, and we actually got the correct order (btw both came at once - they do not ship the upgrades separately.).

My upgrades were shipped separately. 6 bands total, 3 of them upgraded. The upgrades shipped immediately but the regular solids shipped around the normal month prior.

We had the opposite. Ordered one upgraded band and two solids. All three shipped immediately. For our second room, we ordered two solids and those didn't ship until about 30 days before our trip.

I ordered recently and only did 2 upgrades and 3 standards. They all shipped together and received them yesterday for our February trip.

I ordered my upgraded band a couple of weeks ago and received it. Yesterday my friend said that she was able to make the trip with me so now I have to call and add her. How do I go about getting her a magic band?
