Anyone ever ordered items from the Disney Store online and had them delivered to your resort for an upcoming trip? Standard delivery is 7-9 business days and we will be checking in to our resort on the 8th day. Was just wondering if I could put our resort as the delivery address instead of our home.

No reason you couldn't do this from the store's perspective. They don't care where the package is being shipped to.

For any package sent to a WDW resort, its usually a good idea to have your arrival date noted on the outside.

I wouldn't do it . . .
1) We get hundreds of resort deliveries per day.
. . . lots of resort supplies through Ship/Rec Dept
. . . lots of food & beverage stuff
. . . a few guest-addressed items
2) Unless addressed properly, shipments go through Ship/Rec.
3) If they do not know the addressee, they sit, and sit, and sit.
4) The items may not even get to room delivery for days or a week, or so.
5) I have seen MANY packages that missed the guests.

NOTE: Packages going to guests, usually have all the arrival info on the box,
such as guest name, arrival date, confirmation number. Food, like groceries,
are hand-delivered to bellmen, so they bypass Ship/Rec. Other USPS, FEDEX,
UPS go to Ship/Rec.

I shipped baby formula directly from amazon website to beach club. Unfortunately I did not realize their packages are delivered to the convention center and their hours are 7am-7pm. I didn't realize this until after 7pm our first day and had to wait until the next day to get it and I just barely had enough formula to hold us over until morning. I then had to get up early and walk to the convention center to pick it up myself. I remember there being a delivery charge I had to pay. I think it might have been $5. Not sure if that is all resorts or just BC/YC.

The Disney Store orders seldom arrive when they say they will arrive. I wouldn't do this.

My last order with them took 3 full weeks to arrive at my house and I'm still waiting on 2 items. Hmmm, I need to contact them about that tomorrow.

Just returned from our trip and wanted to report back that I placed my order with The Disney Store with expected shipping of 7-9 business days (our check-in date-November 13-would have been the 8th day). I called CSR and told them of my plan and they told me exactly how to address the package. Since it wasn't really possible to do it online the way they instructed, I just called The Disney Store and placed the order over the phone and was again told 7-9 business days. After a couple of days and no email confirmation, I called back and was given a tracking number and told 5-7 days; however, it arrived on November 8th! A little concerned that it arrived so early, I called CSR and they said it would be no problem - they would hold onto it for me. At check-in, I asked about the package and they directed me to the business center where it was safely waiting for me. No problem at all! :thumbsup2
