We are off to DL next Saturday, and will be staying at the Desert Inn and Suites for 6 nights (5 day hoppers) I have never done an online order to be delivered at the hotel, but we are planning to take the bus so won't have a rental. We will have 20 month olds with us, so would like to order snacks, diapers, milk etc- just wondering if anyone has ordered lately- is Vons still the go-to?

If you are an Amazon Prime member (you can get a free trial if not) you can use Prime Now. They have a lot of good options on there and I've found the delivery process to be very easy. You pick a certain 2 hour window and they will inform you when they are on their way. You can change the zip to Anaheim and check out the selection now to see if they have the items you would need: https://primenow.amazon.com

We did Vons in December. Orders diapers wipes milk, etc to be delivered around the time we would arrive. Our flight ended up being delayed and the hotel put it in our room for us. We were very impressed. Everything was delivered nicely.

We are local and has used Vons many times both at home and while traveling (Safeway). Never had anything but a perfect experience!

Wow! That's very cool of the hotel to do that for you. Where did you stay?

Which vons did you order from? :)

The website is saying that the PC that I put in is not in the delivery area and is directing me to their sister brand "Pavillions" same thing?

Oh yes Pavillios is Vons and both are Safeway. They are all the same company, just different store names.

I cannot recall if the DLR resort hotels allow this. Do they? I know they did at one point. We need to do this next month and I have not needed to do it at DLR in recent years so am out of practice.

We did an Amazon Prime delivery at GCH last month. I had called down to bell services to ask them if they can accept deliveries or if I should be down in the lobby to wait for it. The CM said that as long as the order didn't contain alcohol (ours didn't) they could accept it for us and we could pick it up from the bell desk. It worked out really well, we were able to see the order get delivered via the Prime Now app and just picked it back up on our way back from the parks. The only thing I wonder is if they can store cold items... our order was just a case of water, some breakfast items, and packaged snacks so nothing needed to be refrigerated.
