Ordering a chocolate slipper

I want to order a chocolate mousse slipper dessert for my DDs at 1900PF on our arrival night in late November. When should I order? Is it OK to call now, or should I wait until a couple weeks before our trip?

Does anyone have a recent photo of this dessert from GF? I want the white chocolate slipper with white mousse, and the dark chocolate teardrop shape with chocolate mousse. Is this still how it is served? I really wish WDW had a bakery menu with photos and prices for some of these standard items. I'm having a hard time finding info anywhere except Disboards!

1) At GF, the slipper is white chocolate (chocolate slipper at CRT).
2) Order it 48-hrs in advance.

I already ordered ours for CRT on 11/29! I did not want to forget with how busy we may be the closer we get. My mind is on packing and final preperations 48 hours before. They just link your request to your reservation and you pay later.princess:

We'll be there at the same time! We arrive on 11/28. :cool1: I think I'll call tomorrow if they will take orders this early. 48 hours before our trip is Thanksgiving, and I'm guessing they're really busy in the few days before that. Besides, my ADRs are made, and it's too early to start packing, so I need SOMETHING productive to do. :rotfl2:

I did the same for my DD14's slipper  I ordered it 3 weeks ago for our GF Tea on 11/24!

I just Googled "slipper dessert Disney" and it showed pics of both. I wanted to get one for my DD at 1900 for our first night too. It's $15 + tax at 1900, about the same ($15.50 + tax) at CRT. They present it in a really cute way, too. Seems like a lot of money for ONE dessert for a kid, but I'm thinking of just spurlging on that one dessert for her.

Found a pic online:
