Orbitz sale today only

Activities are 6.7% cash back
I booked DLH this morning for 7/16 - 7/18 at 15% off and 2.2% cash back through Ebates, I had previously booked GCH and changed my mind, but PPH & DLH were booked on the Disney site, so I thought I had lost out, but Orbitz had availability :)

Beware, we bought tickets for DLR on Orbitz and DL wouldn't accept them at the ticket gate and we had to re-purchase. Only after talking with several staff members did they refund the original tickets and honor the Orbitz ones on day 3 :-(

Did they say why? We bought our tickets through cheap tickets for our trip in July, hopefully there won't be an issue.

They said there has been a lot of fraud with the ticket vouchers so they go through a more thorough process before accepting the vouchers. We were at the ticket counter for over 45 minutes, then over an hour on the phone and at the Guest Relations counter. Seriously wasn't worth the savings.

Being thorough for fraud is one thing but not accepting them is another.:scared: They sell through other companies then they need to have a process for accepting them. My DH will not repurchase 7 5 day Hoppers. He will insist they figure it out, I guess we'll go over a day early to get the tickets so as not to be wasting park time our first day. Anyone know how late the ticket windows are open on Sunday evenings?

That's a shame, we bought our tickets through Orbitz for our February trip and had no issues at all.

We arrived on a Sunday about 3:00 and they couldn't reach a person at Orbitz and couldn't find it in their database. Our choice was to re-buy 5 day hoppers, for 7 of us, or not go in the parks. Maybe call Disney guest relations ahead of time and give them your voucher number and ask if they could look it up and ensure they see it in the system?

I know a lot of people seem to have success buying their park tickets elsewhere, but I just don't want to deal with any sort of situation like this on my vacation. I've always bought the electronic ticket straight from Disney with no problems.

We had no issue with CheapTickets in March, hopefully you will have the same experience we did.
Sometimes I think it is the luck of the draw whether you have someone in the ticket booth that knows what they are doing. Most people seem to have no problems but occasionally you will hear a story that sounds like person was asleep during training.
