Orbitz DLR hopper tickets through Ebates? Double cash back?

We got in on the amazing deal hopper ticket deal through Ebates in spring 2014, and got 20% back I believe. I think it was through Orbitz. We ended up upgrading to AP's and got the full price of a 5-day hopper applied to our AP's, so it was quite the awesome deal. We are going again in November and debating about hoppers vs. AP's. Just took a look at Ebates, and it appears to have double cash back on Orbitz right now, and the "Activies" Ebates rebate for Orbitz says it is 4.8%. So if it is double, that makes 9.6% back. Has anyone seen a better deal in recent times? Is there anything I'm missing? Thanks!

4.8% is what you get. The "double cash back" is a bit misleading at times, only certain things are doubled and it will show the % for you at the higher amount.

Hmmm, it says double on Orbitz specifically. It is some special Ebates birthday weekend deal. Do you think the Disneyland tickets will be excluded? I tried to look for fine print and couldn't see that it said that anywhere. Thanks for the input!

Sorry, I agree with Imdboss, 4.8% is what they are considering double (which it really is not). Misleading, but true.

Ok, I see what you are saying . . . the rebate % they are listing is supposed to be the already 'doubled' amount? Thanks . . . I kept hoping. ;-)
