Orbitz car rentals? Americar? Shuttles avail. to Majorrentals off airport?

I would really like to rent while we're down there last week of Sept. Problem is HD is giving me a hard time 'cause (as you know) rentals aren't cheap.
We're staying on DW property but I'd also like to go outside...SeaWorld, etc.
Have any of you ever gone thru Orbitz? How'd it go?
What about Americar...I've heard good & bad, but the price on Orbitz is soo good that I might be willing to take my chances. Mostly depends of Orbitz reputation.
Also, are the off-airport major rentals much cheaper? Do they provide shuttles or do we need a cab? What would that run me?


I hate to ask so many questions but I've never had to rent a car before...I'm losing my mind!

you might as well try Americar yourself and save the booking fee that orbitz is going to charge you.
I would do a search here for Americar, I don't know much about them.
They have shuttles, all explained on their website.

No, not all ofsite agencies are cheaper. Hertz is offsite and is definitely not cheaper than onsite.
