I got married in November in Disney.........it is a small world I am a Redbridge girl!!!

Hi girls

thanks for all the great replies! We are still here but with two days left. its my birthday today so brunch at chef mickeys is booked.

Oh my god i'm in brentwood!!!!! live near the holiday Inn!! df parents live in wyatts green

We have just been shopping and doing a few of the parks the last few days so nothing major to report on

Oh we went to titusville and saw the shuttle launch which was fantastic

One thing i was disappointed in was my hair! i had beauti speciale come out and do it and when it was first done it looked great and the make up was lovely. I had it done by 1pm (our wedding is at 2:30) it had fallen down by 2!!!! i was not happy imagine that on my wedding day

ok so now the food!!!

quesadilla!!! so yummy.

cheddar cheese soup, this was so nice

penne ala vodka, ok but not for our wedding

speaks to itself!!

both chickens the one at the bottom is the one we are having

steak was fantastic and so yummy

no dinner is complete without this!!

Mmmm........ the food looks so good! I was considering the penne a la vodka.
Did you like it but just didn't think it went with your other courses of food? Or did it just taste okay?

i think it just tasted ok, nothing special i thought

we just put things that we wouldnt normally have such as the pasta and alot was choosen from things people had from these boards. They are so helpful and if you dont like something they will change it.

DF is even having a different appertiser as he likes the soup!

What kinda wedding are you having, Escape or Wishes? Just we re having the Escape package so was wondering if we can visit Franks??I just want to get to try out all the diff types of cake as they all sound soooooo good

Have a fantastic time, whats it like in Orlando weather wise at the moment???

Your food looks yummy!!!
What did they put on your steak? Do you remember the sauce?
The sauce we had was REALLY salty so we changed it to a beurre blanc instead... we haven't tasted that one tho...

i agree with you on the penne a la vodka. we had it for our wedding and it wasn't anything special!

i LOVE that coach basket. i've never seen it before!

the steak sauce was just the juices it was cooked in and it tasted so good.

I have only seen the mickey bag set they do and when i saw the carriage things i was not sure what to choose!!

We are having a wishes wedding. you can visit francks but with an escape wedding you dont get to taste the cakes i dont think

if possible can you post the pics of your hair & makeup as i ve just booked Beaute Speciale for our Oct planning Session. Must admit im slightly worried as i ve read a mixed bag of reviews on them but could nt find anyone else who looked as qualified. I really decided on them as they ve mentioned they ve worked for MAC Cosmetics , i work as a makeup artist myself so finding that out made me pretty confident that they would be fantastic . Im glad im getting the trial session just so i can 100% make sure im happy with what they do. Thats terrible though, you re hair not even lasting 1 hour!!! Have you any idea what you re now gonna do for your wedding day??


Can i also ask where you ve been shopping for your wedding dress as i ve just started looking a round but am having to go as far as Colchester to have a look.

I think i will stay with them as the make up was really good, she had 3 suitcases full of mac makeup!!

I will email her and advise her about my hair and see what they suggest to do.

I saw my dress in matchmaker but then got it in rayleigh, its a maggie sottero dress

The food looked wonderful Sarah. Urgh about the hair but I will say this when I did my trial run for hair my lady told me that it would have a stronger hold for the actual wedding day etc etc. I had Serena who was then part of the DIsney Cosmetology but it didn't hold as well as I would have liked it even on the day. However when I had Lisa Pena in Dec '06 for a black-tie do she did my hair exactly the same way as I had for my wedding and the curls stayed in all through the night and the whole of the next day - I said to Lisa, "why didn't Disney send you on my wedding day?" LOL Lisa uses MAC too if you wanted another option.

Sarah I'm sure if you just tell Ana what happened she'll make sure that it really really holds on your actual day

So jealous that you saw the shuttle launch. I saw it back in May/June last year from Narcoosees and that was pretty cool but I'd love to get closer to see it!
