Anyone used "Scootaround, Inc." for ECV rental, in the past???

Bumping this up for more replies.
One person posted about 6 months or so that they had used scooteraround and reported that they had a good experience. I haven't added it to the list of providers that I usually post when people ask for recommendations because no one else has given any opinions about them.

I "booked" them, some time ago for our trip on 1/23.............I booked them prior to finding out about you guys, and the 'regular' companies..................

Anyways, I will report back on our experience with them, when we are done.................

Just wanted to touch base re: Scootaround.............

Had a great experience with them last week..............we got to WL at 2pm..........the ECV was waiting for my dad, and it was returned without any issues..................

I mean the "great experience" only consituted, receiving the ECV on time, using it, returning it, and paying for it...........and having zero mechanical issues...........so, that's my two cents.........

Thanks for all your insight, leading up to our trip with my "mobilly" challenged father.....this category made us feel much more comfortable for our first trip with my dad in this condition.

I just looked in both the Bell South (Nov 2003) and Sprint (Jan 2004) yellow pages alphabetic section and could not find any listing for "Scootaround" or any similar name. I also looked in the Medical Equipment section where the others are listed. Do you have a telephone number and/or URL for further research?

I found them on an internet search.......................and I have no complaints about the service......................
