Hi! I'm hoping you guys can give me your thoughts.

We're traveling sept 2005 but I just wanted a loose idea in my head and then start budgeting.

We're a family of three, me dh and dd, who will be 3 1/2. We're staying offsite at a time share.

I'm thinking we'll go to SeaWorld Monday, possibly a water park Tuesday, and spend W, TH and F at Disney.

I'm thinking the Saturdays will be travel days, but I'm not sure.

Is this a good idea to sort of do the parks 'backwards"?

I'm thinking we will NOT go to Universal Studios. I've never been there, neither has dh, and I just think dd would prefer Disney over US. We're not huge thrill ride seekers and this trip is mainly for dd, so is this a good idea?

Would a rest day be better on another day?

Thanks for any thoughts! You people RULE!

Wow, that is a lot to do in a short time. If it were me and more time is not an option, then I would do it this way. Leaving Saturdays (and Sundays I assume) as travel days just as you have planned, I would hit SeaWorld on Monday, Disney on Tuesday - Friday. I would forgo the water park since most kids will be happy with the pools.

I say skip the waterpark, too. If your child was a little older, I might go, but that's a big extra expense IMO. She won't be able to do most things, and you and DH will have to switch off on slides. I would just pick a timeshare that has a nice pool area instead.

If I were you I would get a 4 day park hopper and one day admissions for Seaworld (you can save 20% at SW if you join Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards right now; don't know fi that will be in effect 9/05). Spend 4 days at the parks, and take breaks during the day to come back to the pool and/ or rest (it will be hot!). Spend one day at SW. Personally, I would do SW during the week rather than at the beginning. It gives you a break from Disney and makes the rest of the week more exciting (well, it did me last October; we went to Universal in the middle of our trip.

I would definitely do SW over Universal. Your DD will enjoy it much more IMO. I don't think there's enough for small kids at Universal to justify the high one day admission price.
