Opinions please...

Our flight will be arriving at MCO at 12:43pm. We will be taking ME to our hotel (All Star Sports) and we have a dinner reservation for 4:30 at Tutto Italia in Epcot. Do you think we'll make it in time?

I think you might be cutting it a bit close. If your flight is on time (which is rare in this day in age), you won't be downstairs checking in until about 1-1:10pm. Then you will have to wait for a bus. The bus ride itself is about 1/2 hour. So I would say 2-2:30pm before you get to the hotel. Check-in takes about a 1/2 hour if there is a wait and then you have to go to your room, refresh (if you room is ready) and get back out to the bus stop. Waiting for the bus and driving to Epcot will probably take another 45 min. So that takes you to 4pmish. Then you have to go through the gates of Epcot. It's about a 20 minute walk from the front of Epcot to Italy and you have to check in my 4:20 for a 4:30pm ADR so you will be literally right on time if my math is all right!!! However if your plane is delayed, you won't make it on time. I may rethink that ADR if it's something you really want to do.

i was going to say sure, no problem. but then i read the other post, and she has a point.
we always rent a car, which is why i would have said no problem, but on the bus system, you may be cutting it close.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking too. I don't want to start our vacation all stressed out! I'll have to keep trying to change it. With free dining, everything is booked and that was all I could get. Looks like I'll be making phone calls every day again...

Thanks. That's what I was thinking too. I don't want to start our vacation all stressed out! I'll have to keep trying to change it. With free dining, everything is booked and that was all I could get. Looks like I'll be making phone calls every day again...

i would still keep the ADR. because you just might make it. but then if you dont, just eat somewhere else. ESPN doesnt take ADRs. would it be the end of the world if you didnt get to eat there?

have you riden the boat before? its not that quick, especially if its crowded and you have to wait for a boat. will you have a rental you can take if the boat lines are long, or if check in takes longer than you thought?

no rental - we are using disney transportation...

you knwo id like to say yes, youll be there in time, but theres no gaurantee with public transportation.
ill keep my fingers crossed for you. and if you dont make it, theres a good chance that reataurant wont be booked solid. and if it is theres always planet hollywood.

You could always take a cab to Epcot if you're nervous at that point about taking the bus.
