Opinions Please - Book Now or Wait

What do you guys think? We can book Spirit now roundtrip for 4 out of Atlantic City for 1,157. We have $260 in vouchers (but that's another story!!). The same flights cost us $715 last November and $840 in May. No matter how you look at it - it is a significant increase. Honestly, I am a news junkie and I don't know how to call this - are fuel prices going to continue to rise? If so - I need to book now....but it will kill me if I get a syber special in December offering $49 flights. Just wondering what others are thinking/doing. Thanks for any replies.

When are you planning on going? If you are going at a non peak time them you may be able to hold off a bit, or if you are flexible with your dates. If not, I personally would book any price that I could tolerate. For me I don't like to pay anything over $225 and I have never even paid that high.
Good luck. Others may have some better advise.
