I am considering booking this for on my upcoming trip. It will just be me and DD11. We're doing Pirates League and thought this would be fun to do as well. It's a little pricey though, so not sure it would be worth it. Plus I'm not sure if we'll want to stay out that late.

This will be our second day at Disney. Our flight lands at 7:45am the previous morning, so I'm afraid we might be tired from getting up really early the day before. But I do have the next day planned at a rest day and we don't have to be anywhere until 11:45 for breakfast at 1900 Park Fare.

Here's my current plan without the cruise
Wednesday, May 30
MK opens at 8am and we'll be there for ropedrop
8-10:45 - visit attractions
11:10 - Pirates League (need to arrive at 10:55)
12:15 ride pirates using FP+
1:00-3:00 - break to have lunch and see horses at Ft. Wilderness
4:00 - Dinner at BOG
leave after dinner

If I book the cruise, this will be the plan

1:00-4:30 - take a break at our resort, the BW
5:55 - dinner at BOG
8:00- fireworks cruise

Any opinions on whether I should book it or not?

I’m curious about how late we will be on the boat? Will we be able to see the electric water pageant while on the boat?

We booked for our arrival day night...I figure we will be hyped up and excited so we will have energy to enjoy it.

As soon as the fireworks are over they bring you right back to CR. There you have the opportunity to do a M&G with Peter Pan (at least they did the last time we did it.) The boat does take you to see the EWP before the fireworks.

To the OP, for some reason I was thinking Wednesdays were the only day that the Pirates & Pals did not sail, but I'm not positive about that- just double check.

We did this a few years ago and loved it. Don't know if its the same.

TONS OF SUGAR at the gathering before the cruise. More than you can possible eat - lol
Nice M&G with Hook & Smee
I THINK we got to see the electric boat parade too

Great 'host/captain' - nice view of fireworks

Surprise M&G upon landing....
