opinions on disneyland hotel vs newport bay club

if you could stay at either hotel - disneyland hotel or the newport bay club - which would you choose and why?..

also, the castle club vs the compass club, if you have an opinion....

For me, the price difference is not worth it. Newport Bay Club is newly refurbished and the walk to the parks is not that far and it's my choice for DLP hotel right now. I heard Disneyland Hotel will be refurbished soon. Then it may be worth the price
