Hi

Need some opinions on the food at 1900 Park Faire. I finally got bf to agree to a couple of character meals if there is the promise of unlimited bacon. The two we are doing are Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Faire. I've done Crystal Palace before and enjoyed the food there. I have never done 1900 Park Faire and figured we'd give it a try. So, those of you who have eaten breakfast here lately, I would greatly appreciate your opinions.

TIA:thumbsup2

Hi, we were there last October and found it to be great! I love the character interaction there for Breakfast and Dinner time. Breakfast characters have been Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Alice, Mary Poppins and who doesn't love to see "Mad Hatter".
I would definitely keep this reservation, it's one of the better breakfasts that I like! Have a great time, can't wait til 5am when I can book for our stay in November!

We love it. The food selection is great. Made to order omelets. Fresh fruit. Mickey waffles and pancakes. And don't forget the ice cream.

lobster eggs benedict was really good, and the character interaction is great there!

We went to 1900 Park Fare for breakfast on our trip last September and did enjoy it. It is the only character breakfast we have done, but who doesn't love unlimited Mickey waffles and pictures with Winnie-the-Pooh? :)

We also loved the food and the interaction. I thought the food selection was varied and tasty. As far as characters go, the Mad Hatter is wonderful.

We just got back and had breakfast there last Friday. There was definitely unlimited bacon and it was very good!

Count us in as loving it too. In fact, we're eating there twice on our next trip. If you can, try to convince him to do dinner there too. The food's pretty good and the stepsisters will fight over him.

We haven't done breakfst at PF for a few years but the last time we did we enjoyed it. We ate there on our last day (non-park day) and had a relaxing meal. Relaxing, how can that be you ask? I booked one of the last ADR times and when we left there was only 1 or 2 other parties in the room. One nice thing was most of the charcters stayed out and they kept replenishing the food.

It was really nice to take our time. My DD (I think she was 6 or 7 at the time) played around with the Mad Hatter and had a lengthy visit with Mary Poppins in the Lobby. It was her actual birthday that trip.

We just got back a couple days ago and we had breakfast at Park Fare. We all loved the food --but were expecting more from the characters...especially the Mad Hatter. I had read reviews of how funny he is, but when we went, he wasn't very entertaining at all. He was very quiet and would hardly interact with the kids. Also Mary Poppins barely stayed for more than a second. We had to call her back to the table just to have her sign the kids' autograph books. We paid out of pocket for that meal and my husband thought it wasn't worth it --the kids weren't overly thrilled with it either. But like I said, the food was wonderful!

We really like the breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, we have tried dinner, but decided that breakfast is much better. The food is really good (especially the chilled strawberry soup ) and they even have a made to order omlette station. The characters are fun and we really love to visit with the Mad Hatter. The couple of times that we have dined there he has been hilarious.

Strawberry soup. My most beloved Alice and Mad Hatter. Those two things right there made it my most favorite breakfast meal ever!

Oh, and the rest of the food and characters were great too I guess. :)

We did both breakfast and dinner there in January. We'll be doing breakfast again in September. It was wonderful! Enjoy it!!

Thanks everyone! I think I made the right choice!!!!! Now I'm really looking forward to it!

Can anyone who has been to 1900 Park Fare for breakfast lately tell me the prices of the buffet for adults/children are? I would so appreciate it! :flower3:

I haven't been lately but here's the pricing per allearsnet.com

Cost: Adults $22.36 - Children $12.77 plus tax and gratuity.
Non-alcoholic, non-specialty beverages ARE included in the price.
This is from May 2010 so it may be a little more now. Also I believe they are one of the restaurants that charge more during holiday times.

Thank you! I did look on allears and saw the date of the pricing. I read on threads how the prices of buffets keep really going up, so wondered what kind of increase it actually is. I appreciate your link!

I went for breakfast a few years ago and had an awesome time! The strawberry soup was yummy and the food was generally fresh and plentiful. The characters were great and spent lots of time with each table.

I went quite late in the morning though and felt a little like they'd like me to hurry up! So I suggest going earlier in the morning than 10:30. Just MHO.

Have fune!
