We are a family of 7, and will be purchasing an AP for room discount. I thought it may be worth it to get the TIW since it is only $75 with an AP.:confused3 Is it worth it? Did you see significant savings? We have 4 ADRs for table service meals while we are there, and may add a few more if we decide to get the TIW. OPINIONS and experiencs please :O)

Only 27 more days...I am so excited!!!!:banana::banana::banana::dance3::dance3::dance3:

We think that the TIW card is worth it. We purchased it for our October trip and it was 4 adults. We do like to order wine with dinner and found that it paid for its self after our second day! Also, we (myself and husband) are going back in May and again in October 2010. We will be able to use the TIW for all 3 trips. If you are going more than once in the calendar year then it might be worth it for you.
A previous poster on another thread said you have to spend $375 at TIW accepting restaurants for it to pay for itself. We easily spend twice that if not more.
It really depends on your dining.

Assuming you normally tip in the 18% range, the TiW Card will save you $21.30 including tax for every $100 of menu price. It is valid in almost all table service and buffet restaurants and lounges and some counter service locations and is valid for the entire party of up to ten people on one check.

how you eat, it still appears that it would be worth it to you to buy the TIW card. Remember everyone has to be together for them to be covered by the TIW discount. The $375 purchase threshold is accurate. Since there are seven of you and at least four TS meals, you would have to average $13.40/person at each meal to hit the $375 threshold.

I don't know if you have cocktails, wine, appetizers or desserts with your meal or how many of the seven people are small children so it's hard to say whether it works for you. We have two young children and we are well above that per person expenditure level at TS locations.

I would think a family of 7 could easily spend $375 at 4 sit down dinners....and since you have the discount you may decide to do more???

We spend on average for 2 adults $80-100 per dinner without tips....we usually have steak/seafood, salad, and an adult beverage each;), dessert sometimes. We do pick the more pricey TS restaurants but it really works out well for us.

I think you will see it pay for its self after just a couple meals...its fun to see that $20 savings off the bill...:goodvibes
