Just wanted to get some opinions. When do you think is the best time to visit WDW? and why?

We went for a 3 day weekend over Halloween this year. It was wonderful. We felt like we had AKL all to ourselves. Weather was great.

That is really cool. I've always wanted to go at that time, but have yet to do so. I've only been during the hot hot summer, which I do enjoy, but it can be much. Last summer I had thought about planning a trip this january to get away from the cold here in MA, but after hearing what the weather has been like, I'm glad I didn't follow through with it.

Anytime is a good time to go. :) We like going the end of Jan/beginning of Feb. We look for the value seasons. Someday I would like to go over Christmas.

My favorite time is Jan, but I don't mind bundling up for the parks at night, and we're from Michigan, so as long as there isn't SNOW on the ground, I'm good.

This past Sept we went and WOW it was hot but it was a "I like this" hot. Michigan summer was super tame this year and I just enjoyed the heat for a few hours at a time with some air conditioning breaks inbetween. It was a nice change of pace.

Now we're planning a 14 night trip the end of Aug, with APS and going for a week in Jan. Super excited, and it's nice to experiance the extremes in weather.

I'm from Massachusetts so.. long about that first week in March when that cold winter weather has gotten the best of you... I look forward to fun in the sun! Usually the weather is beautiful and warm in March.. and just chilly enough for a sweater in the evenings!

We are going this year on March the 7th.. and I am praying for another beautiful week!

Any week in September after school starts (I usually pick the first week after school starts because the kids don't really miss alot of school content - mostly review).
Last time we went we rode ALL ride with out a wait (yes, walked right up) with the exception of one. One caveat - it's still VERY warm at that time, but we like the heat!

I've been very lucky and haven't had to deal with heavy crowds. The most crowded time I've been I think would be Valentine's Day. I've been in February, March, and the end of August but it was sooo hot and humid and kind of hard to enjoy.

We decided on Sept for our first trip b/c of all of the great things we heard about crowd levels that time of year and the possible free dining was the deal sealer for us. :worship: Please please let them offer free dining again.

We really enjoy the first of May and October equally, crowds are not bad and May has Flowers, while October has MNSSH and Food Wine. Weather was picture perfect & at evening EMH lots of rides were walk on. I was lucky (??) enough to homeschool for several years and did several trips around those times. Both of those times were perfectly magical IMO!!

We went in late September during the free dining a few years ago and the weather was hot and humid (our little ones 18 monthns and 3 yrs at the time) had a tough time with the heat. During our visit the average line wait was 30-40 minutes. Our more recent trip was early December and the weather was a little cool but there were no lines at all. We walked on to every ride and was even able to ride some ride back to back without getting off. Also all the Christmas lights were awesome!
