Love all those topiaries :) Someday I would love to go during Flower and Garden. Would be cool if you could somehow go to see both Food and Wine as well as Flowers at the same time!

You should, it is definitely a beautiful time to go! I would like to check out the Food and Wine festival some day as well. Both at the same time would be great!

Your pics are beautiful. :)

Thanks so much! :goodvibes

I should hopefully be able to update some more tomorrow. I was out of town for Dillon's Grandma's 80th birthday since yesterday, so haven't been able to get time to go online.

So we left off at the Beauty and the Beast topiaries in World Showcase. Here are some more from that section...

I just love this movie, so I was so excited to see all the attention they put into it. Loved it.

And since we were in France, I had been advised that I needed to try a Grey Goose slushie from the kiosk there. And so we did. We got our drinks and sat down at a table by the water and relaxed for a few minutes. It was nice.

I got the orange flavor, I think it was a whiskey instead of vodka though, very strong! And Dillon got the lime flavor. We both shared, and I think I liked the orange one better, despite the strong alcohol flavour. Dillon preferred the Vodka one.

After our yummy but expensive drinks, we continued on walking. Can't rest too long when you have to walk around the world!

DSC06574.jpg

I liked this not-so-hidden Mickey
DSC06575.jpg

And next we were onto Japan.

DSC06579.jpg

DSC06580.jpg

In Japan, we found these guys. There was a pretty big crowd around them though, so we didn't stick around too long.

I really loved this building. I am pretty sure my Dad has a photo of the same building, or one similar from his business trip to Japan years ago, so this reminded me of that.

DSC06587.jpg

I really liked going into the shops in World Showcase, because there was so many different things unlike every other shop in WDW. I loved going in those ones too of course, but seeing something different is always nice.

I am a big fan of Yoshi from the Super Mario games, so I thought this was pretty cute.

Some more photos on the way to the next area.

DSC06592.jpg

And we arrive in....America!

Next post: Some new countries and probably my favourite part of World Showcase.

I apologize for some of the photos being out of whack. Had to start a new album and forgot to adjust the download sizing right away. Oops!

And we continue...I can't remember this next country :headache:, but it was very pretty.

Next, this was my favourite area in World Showcase, minus the lizards. It was so detailed and so neat to watch all the moving things.

And we saw a couple of these guys in there while we were looking. Probably seemed a little like godzilla to the little people!

DSC06634.jpg

I almost stepped on this one by accident on the way out of the area...
DSC06635.jpg

I don't mind lizards at all, I just don't want to step on them or want one crawling up my leg. Eek!

I guess my photos are going to be bigger for the time being...hope nobody minds!

Next up: Germany!

After admiring the little village, we were off to Germany!

Dillon was excited when he saw a sign for beer and pretzels, so he jumped on that pretty quick!

DSC06649.jpg

We wandered into some of the shops in Germany. I loved the Christmas shop but unfortunately didn't take any photos in there.

I did however, take photos in the jewel shop!

My beloved Swarovski Stitch, which will be mine shortly...
DSC06651.jpg

I love all the Swarovski things. If I win the lottery, maybe one day I will collect them all! Except for maybe the Pooh one :rolleyes1

And then onto China!

Bench break! :)

DSC06661.jpg

Pandas!
DSC06669.jpg

Next up: Norway!

Okay, what's the story? Why do you hate Pooh so much? Poor little tubby guy ;)

For the most part, I have just never been that into him. But it's mostly because for a long while, all I would ever be able to find was Pooh stuff. I have always been a Mickey fan, so I prefer Mickey items. But every time I would see something cool, it would only be in Pooh, not Mickey. So that is where the Pooh hating started, haha.

yay, you got a grey goose drink!!!!

Expensive, but tasty is right

Love Germany.....so pretty there. Their pretzels are great!!!

Great pics :)

Oh ok. Just wondering. Pooh has never been my favorite either...but I still think he's cute. Just didn't know if there was a funny story or not :) Carry on now...

Okay so I tried to post a picture of the miniatures here. The one with the flower show banners. The details were amazing in it.

We last left of leaving China. Next country? Norway!

DSC06677.jpg

We decided to take a ride on Maelstrom. The sign told us a 15 minute wait, but it felt more like 25 or so. Luckily there was some interesting people in front of us to keep us entertained! Including a guy that worked for WDW, but was showing his parents around the place for a few days.

DSC06679.jpg

I didn't get any more photos of it than that apparently. It was an ok ride. It was the typical Disney boat ride with a nice surprise here and there, but I like those, so I enjoyed it. And it was an excuse to sit!

We continued on through Norway...

DSC06680.jpg

DSC06681.jpg

And I am not really sure what this photo is of, but I am going to post it anyway, in case there is something I missed....but i have a feeling it was an accident photo. Oh well, here is Disney pavement!

DSC06682.jpg

After accidental pavement pictures, we wandered over to Mexico!

DSC06683.jpg

DSC06685.jpg

DSC06686.jpg

DSC06687.jpg

My favourite kind of flower...

DSC06688.jpg

DSC06689.jpg

I believe Mexico was the last country, so we started slowly making our way over to Soarin' to use our Fastpasses.

Some beautiful birds on the way...
DSC06691.jpg

DSC06692.jpg

Duffy!

DSC06693.jpg

DSC06694.jpg

There was a pretty long line for him, so we just admired from afar for a sec, and then continued on our way.

Next up: Club Cool and Coral Reef Restaurant!
