Hello all! My name is Mel. I am a long time lurker and a vary rare occasion user of the Dis. I have been a Disney fan since I was born. My nursery was Disney. The first movie I ever watched was Disney, and all of my birthdays up to now, I have had a Disney cake. I LOVE DISNEY!

Well, recently, I gave birth to the most perfect little boy the world has ever seen. His name is Augustus Wulf, and he's the light of my life. That being said...

I gained a TON of weight, while pregnant. I got up to a high of 230 pounds. This was stressful, just seeing it on the scale, and knowing that the road to 'recovery' was going to be long and holy crap rough. Well, it's been a little better than expected, but still a challenge.

I'm planning to use this journal as a place to hold myself accountable, and to post during weigh in days. I will post successes and failures, but I will not post a massive wall of food logging, here. I log on MFP, and because of that...I don't feel the need.

One thing I will post here is my calorie count, my net carbs for the day, and what I actually ate. I just don't wanna post all of the individual nutrition. It gets too boring and tedious.

So, let's get down to the nitty gritty.

    I am 5'2.
My healthy weight is between 102-136 pounds. For that reason, I have set my ultimate goal weight at 119. I think it's a fair number that is somewhere in the middle of my healthy range.

I am currently sitting at 192.2 pounds. At my heaviest, 7 weeks ago, I was 230 pounds on the nose. That means, I have lost a total of 37.8 pounds. I'm extremely proud of myself for that.

I am currently working on the Keto diet. I know it's controversial, but it is working for me. It's not all bacon grease and butter, you know.

I weigh in and log my weight on the app every Wednesday and Sunday. For that reason, I will probably post here (not including answering anything that comes through) on those days for weigh in, logging macros for the week, and discussing how I'm feeling.

The goal is to be at my ultimate goal weight by December 9, 2019, Augustus' first birthday. My stats are below. I can't wait to share this adventure with you guys. Hopefully we can inspire each other. If there's anything that I can be a part of to help with this, I'm all for it, and the more cheerleaders, the better. <3

I don't have much else to say about everything at the moment. I'm finishing off this BANG energy drink while watching my beautiful boy sleep. Later on, I'm planning to do one of my beach body work outs, make some keto cookies, sew some on my quilt, and then hopefully be able to rest without feeling guilty for being lazy lol

Until next time, I leave you with a photo of my beautiful Gus Gus.
