Opening night event for Star Wars: Rogue One?

Was there some sort of event at AMC theater/Disney Springs/DHS for the opening of The Force Awakens last year?

We will be there in December that week and wondering if there will be something for this?

Just to be clear, I'm talking about a special opening night ticketed event. Not just a display at DHS.

Yeah - last December they did a special showing at the AMC at Disney Springs which included an after-party at DHS.

I would expect something similar.

It was insane how long that line was at Disney Springs.

You could buy the special ticket that was for the movie AND the ticketed event at HS (which sold out pretty far in advance if i recall), or just buy a ticket to the movie. I don't believe anything too special was done at the theater

It's too early to know anything concrete, from price to time to if the event will even happen. This is one of those "patience, Grasshoper" moments where you'll want to check back in a few months, or set a google alert or something.

Yep, I get that. I was just wondering what the price was for the Force Awakens event as the link didn't list the price.

the link that I posted has the price in the FAQ it was $94 to $99

Yea it was $94-$99 like Yulilin said. That included movie ticket as well as admission into the HS party. Or you could get a regular movie ticket, or movie ticket and dining option

Sounds fairly reasonable for that. Not sure if DW would be on board with this or not, but being from Western Canada it's not very often you happen to be somewhere at the right time for an event like this.

I'm also hoping they do something this year. We are going Dec10-16 and the opening Thursday is the 15th. I would love to bring DD to this.

No.

If they do another event, which I'm sure they will considering how much money they made, it'll likely be announced in October again

nothing. I'm guessing if they have an event the information would be released a couple of days before tickets sales for the movie. For Force Awakens that was mid October, 2 months before the movie
