Opening Family?

I have seen a couple of posts about the "opening family" at MK. How does one get to do that? Does anyone know? Are they simply picked at random or can you request it? Curious....

It is totally random. If you are lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time, you could be picked. To increase your chances, stroll Main Street between 9am and 10am. Be friendly and look like you are having a great time. Talk to the CMs dressed in street clothes.
