** OPENING DAY PRICING 2017 Pt 3 September-December: Magic, Wonder, Dream, Fantasy **

Ship: Fantasy 10/7/17 Eastern Caribbean
Cat # 8B
2A3K 13,11,5 $1550/$1550/$920/$883/$883 Taxes/Fees/Port Expenses: $545
With OBB
No Air/No Transfers/No Insurance
Total Cost: $6330

According to cruisefish.net, this is the same cost as the same week in 2016. So that would mean this years cruise is 10% higher since I have the OBB discount.

You must have paid full opening day price. I sailed that cruise and it was heavily discounted closer to the sailing date with Cat. 12 GTYs rates (what they used before GT rates), interline and CM rates. Some people even cancelled their original bookings during the penalty period and saved money even with the loss of deposit.

We were naive back then ;) Actually, the TA was tied to a 10-night Med and we were doing back to back. We didn't see anything about discounted rates, but then again we probably would have lost the ability to keep the same room for both cruises. It was a wonderful opportunity and we don't regret it, but we wouldn't pay that again now. Also this one is 3 nights less -- so I will miss those extra days onboard.

These are all for the Fantasy, cat. 8A, 2 Adults, no insurance, with OBB discount--

Sept 2-$3190.22
Oct 14-$3139.82 ($3460.42 with no discount)
Oct 21-$3204.22
Oct 28-$3114.62

Nov. 4-$3536.02 (No OBB Discount)

PC Cruise, Oct 27-5579.76 5C with no discount

Wait time on hold was no more than 3 minutes.

I'm holding out hope for the Oct 7th sailing on the Fantasy. 2A/1C in an 8A.

2AD
Dream 3 night
12/15/17

5E $2024
6A $1975

No insurance, transfers or OBB

There were quite a few B2B guests on board. It was a wonderful cruise and got me hooked on TA cruises.

I hear ya. We were onboard a total of 24-days. If I could afford it, and had the time, I'd do a b2b at least every other year!
