The ports listed on the 1st page are different from what DCL is saying for the Magic for April 3 and a couple more during April.

I am considering April 3 as well. The DCL website shows the same ports as this thread. What are you being told is the itinerary?

IDK what you are looking at, but I reviewed all of the port information I have listed in this thread with what Scott has listed on his blog, and other than the one cruise that included Falmouth, it's all the same.

This is the DCL brochure. The cruise you are asking about is on page 8. If you notice the *s after some of the dates listed, they are for the alternate itinerary that includes Grand Cayman. The ones without the *s include Cozumel instead.

For those who have to book during peak times due to school, it affects our vacation choices a great deal.

I realize that as I have kids in school as well and a wife who teaches in their district and I'm not able to even travel at spring break because that is my busiest time of the year. My point is all everyone likes to do is complain about the "major price increases" that DCL keeps giving us, I was just showing that some prices have actually gone down. I would think that would be something that is celebrated.

Also, the people on the boards have created this pricing frenzy. Why on earth would Disney not do this when they have do many people waiting with baited breath and credit cards ready to book on opening day? I put a 24 hour hold on a RCCL trip and got a phone call the next day from them offering me all kinds of freebies to book with them. DCL knows they don't have to do that.

sorry I'm very new here and want to book a dcl fantasy cruise for april 2016 i know opening day is 30th october(i.e. today) what time will their website accept bookings?i keep refeshing it but dates show only to dec 2015

They say they will be able to book at 9 am. I am a TA so I have been checking my search engine since 7 a.m. in hopes they put it live early. So just keep trying if you can between now and 9 a.m.!

One thing that you have to factor in with the SJ cruises is the increase airfare to get there for the initial cruise.

Yeah, we were prepared for that. But heck, even round trips to Orlando aren't that reasonable anymore! [My hair is still standing on end just trying to find reasonable pricing to London next year.]

Just checked DCL and, shockingly, the prices I was quoted yesterday morning have not gone up for today!

I was looking at the pricing for the repo and then this cruise and the pricing for the 1/10/16 Southern in a 9C or 9D looked very low. So I checked the summary post to see what prices were there and then looked for the original posting.

If you were to move to a 9C for this given scenario, it would only be $2,942.48 (pricing w/o any OBB). That is $560 LESS than an inside cabin and you get a window.

Looking at the 9B pricing, it would be up to $4,006.48. That is the same deck, just mid-ship. For $1,064, I'd move forward.

Just wanted to alert anyone who is looking for this cruise and wouldn't mind a 9C. This looks to be a steal at the present time (8:00 a.m. CDT).

Not sure if this is where it is supposed to be or if DCL will be adjusting this one. Good luck.


ETA: Maybe it is DCL's pricing set up as 1/24 and 1/31 have the 9B - 9D priced LOWER than the Inside cabins.

Yes, they are very limited. I got a secret porthole room on deck 5. It was only $50 more than 09C OV, but $500 less than a 09A!!!
