** OPENING DAY PRICING 2015 Pt 2 April - August: Magic, Wonder, Dream, Fantasy **

No, there is no guarantee you will have an opportunity to book with a 10% discount once you leave the ship. Randomly, some people get a post card offer, but not all.

If you want mid-ship, just decide how high you wish to be. Basically, the difference in categories is different decks; and "A" on a verandah category is mid-ship. Lower category numbers will be higher decks, higher category numbers are lower decks -- again with the "A" designation being mid-ship. Category numbers will shift to other decks with differing letters, generally referring to forward or aft locations. Again, if you want midship, just decide which deck(s) are of interest and ask for it that way. If you want an oceanview at midship, you will have to be on deck 1 or 2.

I think part of the "popularity" of 7As is that there aren't many of them so they book quickly, plus it's the lowest category of balcony rooms.

Enjoy your cruise!

I've always booked cruises through a TA.....I found whenever looking online for cruises it gives you the base, starting rate...is this true? Or when looking online tomorrow, can you pick a room, and see the actual price (ie. my TA can say room # x is this much, versus room # z is this much)? Or if booking online can you not see that sort of information?

Does anyone have a quote for 2a/1c on any of the following on the Magic:
May 15/30th/ June 20 / July 22?

You can view pricing by category (number/letter) online. Staterooms within a specific category will be the same price, and you don't select the stateroom until you get further into the booking process. If you are thinking of doing it yourself, you might want to print out -- or at least have open -- the deck plan for the ship of interest so you can see which categories are mid-ship on which deck. But if you are calling or using a TA, specifying interest as "mid-ship on decks y or z" should suffice.

May 15th is the Transatlantic and May 30th is the first Northern European -- there have been lots of prices reported for those today. Check the early summary post on this thread (post#5), or some haven't been consolidated there yet. Your other 2 dates are there as well; if not your exact 2A/1C it should at least offer a ballpark guideline.

Enjoy your cruise!

Just got through to DCL and wait time was only 16mins!

Booked 11 Night Norway/Iceland 6/29
2A 2C (14,10) 5C Verandah $11,734 with OBB discount
( quoted 9A Oceanview Deck 6/7 $10 309,
9C Oceanview Deck 2 $8,190)

Quoted 12 Night Northern 7/22
(2A2C) 9A $11,587
9C $9,600
5C $13,5..... was rolling eyes at the price here and didn't write it all down!

SORRY this needs to be corrected! My TA booked the wrong second cruise (explaining why it was cheaper!). The correct pricing for the 12-night Baltics is: 2A-9A $9666.24 (No OBB/No insurance/no transfers) 2A-9A $9666.24 (same) OUCH! I like the other price better :)

Interesting. We originally got one peice quote from Disney and when TA went to process it, the price was over $600 higher with no explanation --- within ten minutes.

Here's another quote.

2 adults and 2 children
Fantasy 7 night, May 30, 2015

Still high but a better value then Dream.

Updated to show was a 10A

One poster who booked earlier today said her quote included gratuities. Any chance that's correct and just went unannounced?
