We have a 25% discount because of our cancelled Wonder Cruise. The discount expired 1 and 2 days before, respectively, for our first 2 choices and then was not available for the Jan 3 (Fantasy) or Jan 4 (Magic) because they are still considered holiday cruises even though the kids are all back at so we took our 5th choice. Grrrrr.

For comparison, I looked up our price for this past springs cruise. Same ship, same category, same week (Easter week). It was ~$6300. This is ridiculous!

Just realized - Easter week Dream prices are better than Fantasy. I was shocked. Usually the shorter cruises cost more on a per night basis. That will teach me to assume! I just transferred a dummy over to the Dream 4 night 4/6/2015.

I just called for the 7A, and it was $150 more. I was hoping you would be right. I also checked on the Fantasy cruise for the day before and it is almost the exact same price.

$150? Looking at the non-discounted prices on DCL today, it is only $84 difference, so about $75 after the discount. Plus, does your TA give any additional OBC if you move from a Oceanview to a Balcony? Might be a wash in the end and you'd get a balcony in the process.

Same category, same itinerary, same ship, same departure port - late fall to 2015 increases $2000+ for family of 3...I really don't think we can afford that kind of increase...

That's crazy that seems reasonable I know Easter/Spring Break is a little higher but when I booked 2014 on opening day the weeks around it did not vary by $2500 for the same cabin! I think they saw a lot of people booked Spring Break for 2014 compared to the summer 2014 since it was cheaper and that's why Easter/Spring Break 2015 is bonkers.

It's shocking one week later is $2500 less!
