sponge - your kids and your puppy are adorable! Just don't hurt twinkie!
Hi, Twinkie I hope your daughter is completely better soon.
If ever there was a tag candidate, it's a line from my Maelstrom episode, which will be posted next Sunday when I get back from vacation. I think all you guys will know the line I mean when you see it.
(dis as a reward) like when the house is cleaned but with five kids it is never cleaned
hey twinkie! my kids are eating you!!!
I thought we were friends Nab and here you are wishing twins on me. Just kidding. I love love love my kids.... but that first year was rough. Two babies are a lot of work. Especially when one of them takes 40 minutes to eat and needs to eat every 2 hrs.A baby Twinkie!!!!!!!!Twins maybe....![]()
NAB said:You and MommyP could be pregnant together....
NAB said:What did you reward yourself with for not getting lost?
well that would be fun... but I think she should have all the attention so I will pass

After I got home from kids school, I remembered our farrier (horseshoeing guy) was coming. So I quickly ran out to round up the horses and tidy up the barn. Let me just say, I can think of a lot better ways to work up a sweat in a barn, besides throwing 50 lb. bags of feed and shoveling horse by-product. Oh well, a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.
Speaking of which, my border collie decided she would sneak over into the neighbors pasture and round up his cattle because, you know, that's what border collies do.
Except she didn't round them up, she frightened them. So they all took off running in different directions, bellowing their disapproval. This, in turn, confused said border collie, who decided maybe this "rounding up the cattle thing" wasn't such a good idea.![]()
Much to my chagrin, our neighbor was out in his barn too. I can barely seem him across the pastures, but I yell out "Sorry, for the chaos". He gives me the thumbs up....Wow, he is so understanding!! Wait,
I THINK it was the thumb that was up.

So that's been my exciting afternoon, glad I could share it with you guys. Have a great weekend.
How kind of you.![]()
Wooohoooty Twinkie and SpM!!!!
I'm off to the bath with my mystery!
I've noticed that if I get in the bath around 7(ish) when I get out the kids are miraculously in bed already!![]()

Ya know Mommy P. I don't really know you but, you seem nice. So, as I have said to Windy on numerous occasions. I'm sooo glad we are not married.

A couple days ago Tornado braved the winter weather and went out on the porch. He immediately started slinking to the far side of the porch nearest the woods. A moment later he shot off the porch like an arrow. He was after a big, meaty squirrel. The problem was, unbeknown to himself or Lowell and me, Tornado wasn't the only one hoping to have squirrel for breakfast. A second later a red fox came charging after the squirrel! We shouted at the fox till it ran away and got Tornado back in the house. The poor little squirrel ran up to the highest veritical branch in the nearest tree and clung there for about 45 minutes! I would have, too, if I were him!
One of my cats hates squirrels too, she chases them but never manages to catch them. They can go out on smaller limbs than she can since she weighs about 15lbs![]()
