Open Mike Night - Everyone is Welcome Part 3

Uma - How do you propose we will all fit at the Tusker House? Or were you just kidding and you'll be at MGM laughing it up? ;)

There is a private room at Tusker House, I can check into reserving that. Can't for the life of me remember the secretary's name that booked it last time, so it will have to wait till tomorrow.
Also, I thiink they are changing themes there, so might all be different.

I'd like to do a meet for wishes or illuminations or fantasmic, or all of the above. (Seeing how I haven't seen any of them, LOL, and we could mingle easier there than in a restaurant).

Anyway, I'll check on the room tomorrow.

I never cared for Star Trek. Most likely it was because my brothers were always performing the Vulcan death grip on me, or the cobra clutch wrestling move. I don't know how I survived.
Like Utahmama, I prefered the kinder, gentler shows like the Beaver, Donna Reid and Father Knows Best. I thought the Partridge Family were uber cool and wanted a psychedelic bus parked in our driveway :lmao:

Poly, I have to ask, what IS that avatar of yours???????

Marita,
I am an alumna of the University of Delaware and have tow daughters who are students there. My avatar is our school mascot- we're the fightin' Blue Hens.
YouDee is a little scary ,isn't he?

It's been a quiet day around here.

I didn't think too many people would take me up on the offer....:confused3 If there's too many people we'll switch to Flame tree and enjoy the outdoors. It's not organized yet. My people (Celery) haven't fine-tuned it yet...

YES! That'd be great! Sounds like we've got a few takers!!!

I knew I liked you!

Is it ok if I liked all of those tv shows? Because I do, or did rather, dont see them much anymore.

can you believe I went from Donna Reed and Andy Griffith to nip/tuck?

It's quite all right. I'm a big CSI and Law and Order fan myself.

Babynurse --that sure is a difference in TV shows. The doctors on nip/tuck never have clothes on. :rotfl2:

Poly --I like C.S.I too. Only like the orginal one though.

I got my reservation papers in the mail today but they are the one at All Star Sports and we changed to POR.

Poly, no offense, but I wouldn't have guessed that was a hen if my life depended on it!:rotfl:

I only like the original too,Nab!

Marita, I like both ideas!

Uma and Celery and Other Meeters- I would suggest that we bump the Animal Kingdom lunch back a day since we have a very early Peeps dinner at O'hana on the same day as Tusker/Flame Tree. That might be too much food too close together for some of us who wil be trying to participate in meets with both groups.

Just a suggestion! If we don't make this change, be aware that I put Tusker on the wrong day of the schedule that I e-mailed to a few people.

Maybe we can discuss at Chat tonight?

Kay - Glad you made it back safely. After just seeing a bunch of relatives that I hadn't seen in ages at my Grandma's funeral, I can relate to your cousin appreciating your presence there.

Just thought I'd let you know that the puppy is my daughter's!!! I'm having a rough time with not being able to see him "in person" while he is little and cute. If it's this bad with a puppy, I feel really sorry for people who have grandchildren that live far away.

Poly, I think you missed my post on the previous page :)

ok, I am about to go fold laundry whilest dancing is on.

Later, gators!!

Poly-- I cover my eyes a lot though.:rotfl2: I am glad Grisom is back.

Marita -- will if you said you got tired while watching the show I would think you are dancing along....:lmao:

I don't remember watching many shows when I was younger. I guess we mostly watched what my parents and grandparents had the TV tuned into. My DH has vivid memories of watching certain TV shows growing up. He was a Trekker from the get-go, so I have been assimilated for many years! :lmao:

I'm with Nab and Poly on CSI. My DH still watches CSI Miami (which I annoy him by calling Miami Vice). And we only watch Law & Order Criminal Intent. Nab, I'm glad Grissom's back too. Is anyone else fascinated by Catherine Willows' lips? Every once in a while, I have this feeling that she just went in for a collagen refill :rotfl:

Marita - WISHES or Fantasmic for us. We don't do Epcot at night. I can't see a dang thing at that park at night. I have serious night blindness and it's way too dark there. ;)

Ok, #1 is Wishes for me, then Fantasmic. I caught snippets of Illuminations from far away before, so I guess that would be last.

Our favourite would be wishes too Marita.

I don't much like the one at Epcot anymore. Only been to Fantasmic once. It scared Hannah when she was small. She is afraid of Urusla to so we can't go see Little Mermaid at MGM either.
