Pssst... I'm not a scrapper, but know of a DIS'er in Sterling who is opening a new store... I'm sure its the same place... she's wonderful- be sure to pay her a visit and support a fellow DIS'er!!!

Hee-hee-heee!! It's me!! I work part-time at the new Recollections store in Sterling! Yes, we officially open tomorrow morning at 10AM and I'll be there in the evening. Stop in, say hello, introduce yourself and I will be more than happy to show you around the store!! We have a pretty decent selection of Disney stuff and a $10 crop every Friday and Saturday night from 6 to midnight. AND we will be serving dinner at the crop!! Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about anything--if I don't know, I'll find out!

Well now that I've stopped drooling, I'll tell you. The store is wonderful!!! Just a bit of everything. Now we have 3 LSS close by here so most products are available to us, however, I was so surprised by how much I'd never seen before! Gotta love it!!!!
And best of all, I got out of there with only spending $32. That place could and probably will wreck havoc on my pocketbook.

Maggie and I are doing the crop Fri night. Beth, if you're working I'm the one showing up about 8:30. Gotta go to a swim team banquet first and cut out of there early. If you aren't there I'm sure we'll meet up soon.

Julianne, it was so nice meeting you! I'd love to have a dis crop there sometime. Good idea girls!

Yay!! The store opened successfully!! I've been worried since they had me there til 10 last night and things still weren't quite done when I left! I'll find out when I get there tonight after my full time job.

Yes, Pammy jo, I'll be working at the crop tomorrow night. Should I see to it that all the Dissers are sitting together?! Did you know they can also host a cropping party for you, if you like?! Kinda like having your birthday party at McDonalds, only MUCH better! What an awesome idea for a bridal or baby shower, too! The guests could scrap the album of the party right there!

LOL!! Maggie, the crop isn't full yet because people don't know about it yet. The store only just opened, after all. I wouldn't be surprised to get there tonight and find that it filled up a lot more during the day today!

I was at the store Friday night too. I was only doing some shopping tho. I had forgotten about the crop because I already had a weekend of scrapping ahead for me. I had my 2 year old with me and she wasnt cooperating, so we weren't able to stay long.

How far from Annandale is Sterling? My in-laws live there and next time we visit I want to check this place out. My Sister in-law is in Ashburn is that closer to it? I wish we had good scrap booking stores around here, we only have one and it's small.

Ashburn is real close to Sterling, with traffic I can get to the store in under 20 min.
