on the FREE DDP...so that just made it all the more better!!
Let's see...for table service places we went to (all for dinner)
50's Prime Time...always a favorite of ours...had a great meal and some FUNNY servers around us. And evidently my "cousin" was ticked that I didn't like the collard greens and airplane fed them to me.
The Grand Floridian Cafe...this was a last minute pick for us...all our other TS meals were ADR'd months ago...but we got into this one. Was a VERY nice meal in a pretty setting.
Now for what my husband calls the "filet trifecta"...because he had the filet at the following 3 places...3 nights in a row...
California Grill...we celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary there on tuesday night...had sushi, a flat bread, the filets and 2 lovely desserts. Got to see Wishes in the rain...had a seat right by the window...and it seemed every CM in the restaurant wished us a happy anniversary.
Jiko...another of our favorites! Dh had the filet, I changed it up and went with the chicken, with flat breads and the taste of africa for appetizer and 2 great desserts with a presspot of coffee. oh...and you gotta love the african wines!
Le Cellier...this would have been an amazing meal if we didn't have 3 not-so-happy infants at the tables next to us...but, that's disney! The food was still wonderful. This was our first time here and I have to say we will definetly go back! Again, we both had the filets for our main course, also had salad and steak kebobs for app. and the creme brulee sampler was WONDERFUL for dessert.
We overtipped at all these places...we had some great servers and not one bad meal!
We hit all our favorites for counter service (Tusker house - twice!, Cosmic Rays - twice!) Electric Umbrella, Sunshine Season, and the food court at CBR. We ended up using our remaining snacks on drinks at the MNSSHP Friday night...
All in all...it was great going to WDW with money in my pocket...and coming home with over 75% of it still in there! the free DDP was such a treat!
