Hi All -

Anyone out there can give me some tips, location, times on seeing Davy Jones at Epcot 4/25-27??Where? When? Who do I ask? Should this conclude our day at Epcot?

Davy is really not terribly significant to this trip but if Mommy can fit it in - I would love it. May or may not even bring the kids - they can stay with their DSS! - If I go alone, where should I think of grabbing a drink or a bite in world Showcase?

BTW - have never even gotten to WS yet - Have my AP, will travel!! LOL!!

Thanks! Monkee fans - let's meet!!!

Ok :)

There are three shows per day - 5:45, 7:00 and 8:15, and they last about a half hour each. The shows are in the America Gardens Theater in the American Adventure Pavilion on the southern end of the park; halfway around the lagoon from Future World.

I have seen a few bands during the Flower and Garden Festival in past years and have never had a problem getting decent seats, although if you want to be right up front you should probably plan on being there quite early - there are usually a handful of diehard fans in the front rows that just stay there all day.

If you have something you want autographed, bring it; they usually have short meet-and-greet sessions after the shows.

There are snack places and counter-service restaurants all over the World Showcase where you can grab a bite. It pretty much depends on your taste. There's also a Turkey Leg cart and a stand selling funnel cakes right by the theater.

Have fun!

PS: While in the World Showcase, don't miss Off Kilter in Canada, the British Invasion in the UK, the Living Statues in Italy and the Dragon Legend Acrobats in China. The film in France, the American Adventure show and the Maelstrom ride in Norway are also well worth seeing.

Just be prepared...some of those Davy fans are a bit obsessive. They scared me last time I saw him.

My DH and 12 yr old DD saw Davy Jones last May at one of the Flower Power concerts. I couldn't believe how much fun everyone in the audience was having! No matter what the age (even the teens), people were clapping and singing all thru the songs. There were a few over the top fans who had to be escorted to their chairs but it was a great concert! We had seen Starship the year before and it was no where near the level of excitement that Davy Jones initiated.
If you get the chance go to the concert. I wish we could do it again!
