Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party 2024

Even October can be ridiculously hot and humid. We had planned Si and Am costumes one year and had to give up on the elaborate face paint we had planned. Was way too bad even after the sun went down. Even the painted on whiskers we used were getting smeared.

We went one September and it was 107. Hotter than in Phoenix where I live. It was miserable.

We have been six times for Halloween and I think we’ve had nice weather twice. Every other time has been hot and humid. Expect it to be warm!

You did not miss it. I am guessing not too many changes seeing there were no announcements. Last year the only meet that change was the one at the Fountain and I don't think we got any announcements before the first night there either, or did I forget something there? The year before when Mim and Gothel debuted they had a promo video.

So I saw in a FB group that some people are making friendship bracelets to trade/handout Taylor Swift style. I thought this sounded fun so started on some bracelets!

If you mean you are going to the first Oogie Boogie on August 25 you may want to bring a 2nd option because it will be warm to boiling that day.

This is so funny - as Canadians we definitely typically plan Halloween costumes around snowsuits and winter jackets and toques

Curious, I googled Orlando & Anaheim's historical real feel temps for 8/25 & 8/27

It's close to 10 degrees less in Anaheim. That's a win

Since the teaser came out, everyone's theories have been that Hades is the new villain, but...the new foodie guide came out and there is a lama rice crispy treat and a light up cube that is a lama poison vile. Maybe it's Yzma!!!

I admit I missed it at first, but now I see it too. That would definitely match Finkelstein.

109 is the all time record high in Anaheim, so id say you were there on a really rare occurrence to get 107, especially in the Fall. I'd say it probably doesn't break triple digits 90% of the time in July/Aug, much less in Sept/Oct... and maybe more humid than Phoenix, but nothing compared to Orlando, or were you talking about Orlando?

Yes. I had to rescue a friend who had locked herself out of the room once, so this is personal experience.

Not sure I would bother if off property unless special occasion, going to lose a lot of time in the short hours of the party.
