Ontario Walmarts.

Hi. I just found our today that our Walmart near here (Brantford Ontario) is going to be open 24 .Just to compeat so there is no loss because Ancaster is going SUPER and open 24 7.

Will they also be changing it to a Super Walmart like Ancaster? Hope so as I live in Simcoe and love Walmart.....although we're supposed to get a Walmart here too....but the question is when???

I wonder if they will finally get produce now as well. Now at least if we need to get Diapers in the middle of the night or something we will have more of a less expensive option than Shoppers or Sobey's.
Wonder if any will change over in the Oakville/Miss area.

The Fanshawe park RD and Hyde park Rd wal mart in London is being turned into a Super Wal Mart.

Is this the Walmart on King George Rd? I'm in Paris and would love that Walmart to be 24 hrs?

Hey erin 1998, I cannot believe another dis member here in Paris. My sister inlaw here in Paris is another member too. Are you married with family,or not?

I just got the word though, the Walmart on King George is only going to be open until 12 midnight. But I guess that will do for now. The Ancaster's grand opening for the SUPER store is sometime in Sept.

We just had a new Walmart open neat us (Stoney Creek Mnt) and although it has no produce it has lots of groceries. We have a Fortinos within 2 mins of Walmart. They are talking about making ours 24 hours, I wonder if they'll change it into Super one if they go 24h? When it opened I think most of my pay went into helping pay for it( especially the Disney stuff!!)

I was in the Ancaster store on Saturday night and they said they are waiting for approval to go to 24 hours. The Ancaster by-laws state all stores must be closed by 9pm so there are some legal issues. At this point in time there are no plans to go 24 hours yet.

Isnt Ancaster a part of Hamilton now? I know that thier were issues a while back with the Costco in Ancaster and they had to remove for the longest time books and CD's. But isnt thier a 24 hour Sobey's in the same plaza as the Costco. I moved away 5 years ago and havnt had the need to go back up there since.
